What if we offered you an unforgettable 1,000 mile paved adventure to enjoy the days between the two rallies? This is a 5 day / 4 night journey through scenic countryside with amazing roads. Your tour guide is a master of the local roads having led hundreds of rides throughout the Northwest. Hotels are included as well as registration for the Chief Joseph Rally. You will need to register separately for the BMW MOA Rally in Redmond.

The BMW MOA is doing you a huge favor, inviting you back to explore some of the greatest motorcycle terrain in the nation - Central Oregon. More than you can possibly explore in a simple out-and-back visit to the 2024 BMW MOA Rally in Redmond, Oregon. But you’re in luck — back to back rallies can bookend a ride for the ages. The BMW Riders of Oregon are hosting their own Chief Joseph Rally — the 44th edition — the following week in John Day.

Pricing

Pricing includes registration for the BMW Riders of Oregon Chief Joseph Rally. The rally includes 4 days of camping, hot showers, two dinners and much, much more!

A $500 deposit per person is required to confirm your spot on the tour. The full balance must be paid 90 days prior to the tour. Shared room pricing is based upon 2 people sharing a room with 2 beds. If another person is not available share the room, you will have the option of upgrading to Solo accomodations or cancelling your tour with a full refund.

Day 1 - REDMOND TO PENDLETON • 240 miles

Roll through ghost towns of the Pony Express era, the first of which regained notoriety in the 1980s as a religious cult attempted to colonize the county.

day 2 - PENDLETON TO CLARKSTON, WA • 220 miles

Speed along an endless mesa, only to have it disappear into a 2,000-foot basalt canyon.

DAY 3 - CLARKSTON, WA TO RIGGINS, ID • 205 MILES

Explore the rugged hills of the Idaho panhandle where Chief Joseph made his last stand.

Day 4 - RIGGINS, ID TO La GRANDe • 235 MILES

Dive into one of the deepest canyons in North America. Make your way along the Oregon Trail, spilling into the Grande Ronde Valley, surrounded by sublime mountain vistas.

Day 5 - La GRANDe TO JOHN DAY • 135 MILES

Enjoy the remarkable views and roads of the Strawberry Mountains as we wind our way to our final destination — John Day, Oregon!
